Patients brace for post-ACA out-of-pocket health costs

When the clock strikes midnight on January 31, the open enrollment period will close on the healthcare.gov marketplace.

The organization has two sites for enrollment: 5900 Airport Blvd. and 2600 Stassney Lane.

Bill Hammond, director of health policy for the Empire Center, said the Health Department's numbers are somewhat misleading because the bulk of the enrollments came from Medicaid.
