Marigold flower preparations are PROBABLY SAFE for most people when taken orally or applied to the skin.

Special warnings and precautions:

Pregnancy and breast-feeding : Do not take marigold by mouth if you are pregnant. IT IS NOT PROBALEMNETE SAFE . There is concern that it could cause a miscarriage. It is also best to avoid topical use until no further information is available.

There is not enough reliable information on whether marigold intake is safe during breastfeeding. Be careful and avoid consumption.
