Caravan of memories: 2009

Enthusiastic about Juan José Saer's essay on "Argentine Books", which is a text about his love for Argentine literature that can be found in the volume Trabajos by Seix Barral (2005), I have decided to share my own enthusiasm for Argentine letters at the entrance today. Actually, I'm obsessed with Argentine literature right now. Although I am a newcomer to this world, I have read enough to tell you that I would like to read more of Borges and Cortázar and literary critics like Beatriz Sarlo. I'm an admirer of Arlt, Piglia, and Saer, and by the way I'm going to read more of those three bosses in a little while. At the same time, I recognize that there are many gaps in my mania. There are several texts that I want to read (The Pichiciegos of Fogwill, for example), and I clearly need to learn more about the authors who live up to all these male names . I tell you, it's an obsession! Anyway, below you can find a list of twelve of the Argentine titles that I hope to be able to read during the next year. I have found two of the books, those of Gombrowicz and Walsh, in the library. I still have to buy Puig's novel. Fortunately, the other books are in the house, waiting patiently for their turn.

1) César Aira, The adventures of Barbaverde (The Adventuras of Barbaverde), novel (Mondadori).

2) Martín Caparrós,
